Pastors O.J. & DeLesa Swanigan

O.J. and DeLesa Swanigan serve as the Senior Pastors of The Light Christian Church. They have been married for 34 years and have two sons, Orintheo and Olan; a daughter-in-love, Narkesia; and two beautiful grandchildren, Onna and Omari.

As anointed, visionary, and strategic leaders, Pastors O.J. and DeLesa are truly a blessing to the body of Christ.   They have the incredible ability to share the Word of God with boldness, power, and simplicity.  As such, God has commissioned the Swanigans to teach, challenge, and exhort the body of Christ to wholeheartedly love the Lord, and to walk in their purpose and fulfill the destiny God has assigned to their lives.   The Swanigans understand that as individuals commit to walking in obedience to what God has called them to do, that the manifested word and blessings of God become evident in their lives and inspires others to follow.   Therefore, the Swanigans purpose to teach practical, life transforming, biblical principles designed to "Raise up a generation to walk in their purpose and fulfill their destiny."    

Pastors O.J. and DeLesa also have a passion to develop leaders, particularly in the body of Christ, to effectively lead in the capacity in which God has called them.  Understanding that everything rises and falls on leadership, the Swanigans understand how important it is for leaders to be equipped with the knowledge, tools, and resources to effectively carry out the mandate God has entrusted to them.

Pastor O.J. is currently completing his Master's Degree in Transformational Leadership at Bethel University in St. Paul Minnesota and he holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from the Sacramento Theological Seminary where he graduated Salutatorian.  DeLesa holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from National University, a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco where she graduated with top honors, and is a certified trainer, facilitator, and life/business coach.

Most of all, Pastors O.J. and DeLesa wholeheartedly love the Lord and are committed to fulfilling God's purpose and destiny for their lives.
